This program, established in 1987, provides a new room sized air conditioner to those low income members of the Henderson community with medical conditions worsened by the heat and unable to purchase an air conditioner for themselves. Volunteers may make monetary donations toward the purchase of an air conditioner or choose to purchase a unit. Fans are also provided through this program. Medical conditions are not a requirement to receive a fan. Recipients must meet income guidelines as set by the Department of Social Insurance.
